Top 3 best and worst films that I watched over break 2/14-2/21

Yes, I've watched nine movies over the course of seven days. Yes, I'm a film bro.

Best 3:

Buffalo '66 - wow. Beautiful film with hints of abstraction.

Matar a Jesús - Colombian movies make me feel something that no other movie can.

Funny Girl - I am beyond obsessed with Barbra Streisand.

WORST 3:

The House of the Devil - Wow did this movie have so much potential and just completely flop at the end.

The Last Stop in Yuma County - As you can tell the worst movies have the longest titles, somehow this one also starred Jocelin Donahue

Heart Eyes - Uh, you know, it wasn't terrible, just not great.

"The Beauty Of Old Hollywood In One Scene" by The Nerdwriter

Honestly one of my favorite Youtubers ever. His insights and opinions are simply unmatched; I yearn to analyze works of art like him. This video was beautiful—also highly enjoyable cameo from my goat James Stewart.

Fluorescent visuals like these date back to colors used in Giallos, Italian psychological thrillers and slashers that originated in the 1960s. Famous movies like Dario Argento's 1977 Susperia, use techniques and details of a timeless Giallo.

The Substance 2024 directed by Coralie Fargeat. Oh my lord what a masterpiece. It has been a long time since I have rated a movie 5 stars after my first watch. Full review definitely in progress and will be posted within the month. Creative allegorical film. 100% recommend.
